Zach Kindrews is a main character in Day of Decay. Zach has always had his fair share of fame and misfortune while he was growing up. Constantly misjudged, Zach had to consitently prove to people that he wasn't just a pretty face or a stereotypical black teen. His charm and witty jokes proved to be hs saving grace, as he used those two talents to wash away all the stereotypes that people associated him with. This lead to Zach befriending and eventually become great friends with Hunter Everson. Through this connection, he met several new friends and also met his current girlfriend, Renee. Despite his social life thriving, his personal life was never smooth, as he lost both of his parents in a fatal airplane incident. Zach didn't let this tragedy stop him in pursuing his dreams, as he went to attend college. And when he returned to his hometown in the summer, Zach was quickly thrown into a rapidly changing world due to the outbreak beginning.
