Pre-Apocalypse[]
Prior to the outbreak, Dustin was a defense lawyer who had many high profile cases, including one where he was able to convince the jury that his client, accused of murdering several people with an axe, was not guilty
Post-Apocalypse[]
At some point, Dustin joined the Waterfront Community
Scatter Season 2[]
"Stars Die"[]
Dustin is present during the Midnight Rebellion, where he is seen held captive with Gina after the death of 'Judas'
"Off the Map"[]
Dustin is seen being interrogated by Chester Navarro, revealing he did not join the rebellion by choice, rather because Ivan Petrova made him do so. He is taken out of the room by Nate Demarco before being seen riding with Gina and Blake Miller to Apex
Season 3[]
"Pact"[]
Having been taken to Apex, Dustin sits in the newly-built Church and sits with Gina
"Revelations"[]
Having somewhat been accepted into Apex, Dustin tells a group about his past. When Ray asks why he followed 'Judas', Dustin notes that the latter promised a change. The others in the room are shocked to hear that there were other rebels in the Waterfront outposts

Having learned from Jenny Hanson of the assassination attempt on Chester, Dustin notes that the second phase of 'Judas' plan had started, and that they needed to head to the Waterfront.

Dustin, alongside Jenny, Phillip James and Dimitri Vanderbilt, acts as one of the major supporters of assisting the Waterfront

Dustin fights against the second phase of rebels in the Waterfront alongside Gina, who is shot in the neck and killed. When Chester sees what is happening and is angered, Dustin tells him that they are fighting against another rebellion
"Torn"[]
When fighting against the remaining rebels, Dustin follows Jenny and alongside Reina. He survives the rebellion
"Light"[]
In the aftermath of Cassius's final stand, Dustin sits with Emil and tells him that he thinks Emil will be freed due to his cooperation
"Outrageous"[]
After returning to Apex, Dustin is one of the few who opposes forming a full alliance against the O'Connor Compound.
Season 4[]
"Where We Were"[]
In preparations for the fight against the Compound, Dustin becomes a part of Garrett Smith's group, where he is attacked by Nick D'Atomeo for having taken part in the rebellion, which killed Nick's sister. After apologizing and nearly dying, Dustin is released and Nick walks away
"A Plague On Your Houses"[]
When the Compound survivors attack, Dustin fights alongside Jenny, Dex Hubbard, Lilli Munson and Jasper Bernard. During the fight, he is killed by a Compound soldier and put down by Dex
