Pre-Apocalypse[]
Little is known about Denise's life before the apocalypse except she has a job as a wedding planner and often comes to Turn Heads Salon to get her hair dyed and trimmed.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Episode 1[]
Denise is mentioned by Patricia and Kayleigh when they are speaking about the pre-booked cuts they have that morning. Once she enters Patricia begins her hair and the two have a general conversation about things such as the weather and work. When Joanne enters with Annie and Lucy their noise entrance as well as the frequent short arguments and even the game of eye spy between Annie and her mother annoys Denise; she eventually asks to turn the television up so that she can no longer hear them. That is when they hear the news about the dead rising and devouring people, Denise doesn't believe it although she is doubtful. A man then burst in, bleeding from a bite wound in the neck and choking on blood, Denise dived back against the counter.
