- Day 56 Of The Zombie Apocalypse
Jenna: Wake up kiddo.
- Alex wakes up.
Alex: Mommy.
Jenna: Yes, Alex.
Alex: Will you be here with me forever?
Jenna: We'll always be here with you.
Simon: Yeah, boyo, we'll always be here.
Alex: Thankies.
Jenna: Awww, that's so cute.
- Day 57 Of The Zombie Apocalypse
- Alex wakes up, however, his parents are not there.
Alex: Mommy, daddy, where are you?
- Alex searches the house. However, they were nowhere to be found.
Alex: Hello. Anyone?
- Alex leaves the house. He spots a herd of walkers and runs away. Alex runs into the forest, where he sits down on a log and cried.
Alex: You said you would always be there for me. You liars!
- Alex continues to cry. However, his cries attracted three survivors.
Marcus: Why are you crying kiddo?
Alex: My parents are missing.
Amber: Awww, poor kid.
- Amber pets Alex's head.
Alex: Thanks. That feels so much better. Amber: Should we take the kid in.
Marcus and Hayden: Yes. We don't want him to suffer out here.
- The four of them walk to a log cabin.
Alex: Is this where you live?
Hayden: Yes, this is where we live.
- They walk in.
Alex: This place is nice. Look, a fire!
Marcus: Yeah, kiddo. It'll keep us warm.
Amber: It'll take some time to get used to living here. Why don't you draw some pictures?
Alex: That's a great idea!
- Amber grabbed some paper, a pencil, and some crayons and gave them to Alex so he can draw. Hayden and Marcus talk by the fire.
Hayden: Marcus.
Marcus: Yeah Hayden?
Hayden: Was taking in the child a good idea?
Marcus: Yeah. It's better to have him be in here nice and safe than outside and vulnerable to zombies.
Hayden: What would happen if his parents come home and they accuse us of kidnapping him?
Marcus: There are no laws in this world anymore. We have to do what we can to survive.
