Pokémon Anthology

Cal Goldsworthy is a protagonist of Pokémon Anthology in its second and third volumes. Cal is a street kid, a former foster kid who has recently found a home and is not used to the love he's gotten. Used to fending for himself, Cal has a difficult time forming trusting bonds with other people. He is taken under the wing of his adoptive cousin, Iris, in order to eventually take her place as Opelucid City's new gym leader.

PersonalityEdit

Cal is a foster kid who finds himself unable to trust easily. He is a troublemaker, but only due to circumstance, not by nature. When you dig deep, Cal exposes a caring side to him that he doesn't like to show off; he's been trained to see it as a weakness. He is surprisingly nurturing, having worked at the Day Care from a young age to take care of baby Pokémon. He is witty and snippy, and thinks he is a lot funnier than he actually is.

Cal doesn't know how to deal with his problems outside of gambling, drinking and stirring up trouble. He has big aspirations and dreams, but often lets the world and others dictate his future for him instead of paving his own way. He is a little bit of a pervert, crediting this personality trait to the time he spent living as a degenerate in the streets of Goldenrod City.

HistoryEdit

Pre-seriesEdit

Not much is known about Cal's early life. He hails from the Johto region and is cousin to Iris. He worked part-time at the Day Care and most of his companions, other than Totodile who was received as his starter from Professor Elm, were hatched from eggs that he raised.

IridescenceEdit

TBD.
